City Attorney UBS ELLO RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION authonzmg the purchase of certain real property in Oakley's Riverfront Addition WHEREAS, the city purchased an unplatted 18-acre parcel from Burlington Northern in 1992 and entered a Lease Agreement with the Pasco Little League, authorizing the League to develop the property for a Little League baseball complex, at its cost, and WHEREAS, the Little League, relying on the survey of the former Burlington Northern parcel, designed and prepared its Little League complex m a fashion which inadvertently encroached on adjacent property in Oakley's Riverfront Addition, and WHEREAS, the City Manager has conferred with the owner of the property affected by the Little League encroachment and the owner thereof has agreed to sell the property to the city, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: §1. That Lots 1-6, Block 1, Oakley's Riverfront Addition, be acquired for the total sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) and included in the Lease Agreement with the Little League §2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents he deems necessary to effect the purchase of the above-descnbed property consistent with the purchase pnce specified herein PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco at its Regular Meeting dated July 19, 1993 JOY O IJEFELICE Mayor ATTEST CATHERINE D.
